*Call to Worship Responsive Reading of Psalm 23
Leader: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not be in want.
All: You make me lie down in green pastures and lead me beside still waters.
Leader: You revive my soul and guide me along right pathways for your name’s sake.
All: Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Leader: You spread a table before me in the presence of those who trouble me; you have anointed my head with oil, and my cup is running over.
All: Surely your goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Great Shepherd, you love us, but we do not love you fully. We have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We follow too much the desires of our own hearts, breaking your laws of love. We walk away from neighbors in need, wrapped in our own concerns. We leave undone the things you call us to do; we do those things we ought not to do. Help us to admit our sin, repent, and return to you, receiving forgiveness in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting. I declare to you, in the name of Jesus, your sins are forgiven. May the God of mercy, who forgives all our sins, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen.
*Hymn of the Month “Awesome God” Insert
Our Giving to the Lord Pastor
We are called, as dearly loved children of God, to live a life of love, loving others just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. May our giving to the Lord likewise be sacrificial.
