Leader: The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and of Judah. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
All: No longer will a man teach his brother or his neighbor, saying, “Know the Lord” because they will all know God, from the least to the greatest!
Leader: Although Jesus is God’s Son, he learned obedience from what he suffered, and once made perfect, he became the source of our eternal salvation.
All: Jesus is the high priest of the new covenant. In him the name of God the Father is glorified. Christ is lifted up, that all men may be drawn to God. Praise be to God!

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
God of Grace, have mercy on us according to your unfailing love. According to your great compassion, wipe away our sins and the guilt we have carried for so long. We know our transgressions: against you only have we sinned. Forgive us as we confess and repent. Write on our hearts your boundaries for our lives. Renew in us steadfast spirits. We claim Christ as savior, that your salvation may set us free and sustain in us abundant life and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
