Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Gracious and Holy Father, we confess that our actions deny your love. Our minds justify the bending and breaking of your commands to suit the world around us. Your law warns us of our own weakness and folly, and through it our sins are made plain. Help us to discern our errors. Forgive our hidden faults and redeem us from those sins we recognize and confess. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. In God’s wisdom, Christ Jesus has become our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord! 1 Corinthians 1:18,30
