Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Most loving God, we confess that we have not treated our own lives with the honor worthy of your temples. We forget that we have been bought at a price and the Holy Spirit is at home in us. In our hearts we harbor greed, self-importance, pride, contempt, discord, envy, anxiety, and ingratitude. By your Spirit, cast out all that is displeasing and foreign to you. Forgive us and make us yours in body, soul, and spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
There is nowhere we can go to flee from God. He hems us in – behind and before. He has laid his hand upon us. In grace and mercy, God forgives our sins, and in the name of Christ, He makes us his own. Jesus is our Light, our Savior, our Lord.
