Leader: I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever. With my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.
All: I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
Leader: You said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David my servant, ‘I will establish your line forever and make your throne firm through all generations.’”
All: I will maintain my love to him forever, and my covenant with him will never fail. I will establish his line forever, his throne as long as the heavens endure.

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
God of Mystery and Power, we are a people of struggling faith, slow to accept what we cannot understand. We need your forgiveness, grace, and encouragement, lest we become discouraged and fall away from you. Forgive our hard hearts and stumbling ways, then take us by the hand to lead us gently and surely through times of trial. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
