Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
O Lord, hear our prayers of confession. Our faith is fragile, and too often our sins go unrecognized. We have not seen you in our midst or listened to your voice. We fail to prepare the way for Christ’s return because our self-concern is greater than our love for others. We come with sincere repentance, that you may forgive us and guide us back to the path of righteousness and peace, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin is paid for. God has shown us his unfailing love and granted us salvation in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Isaiah 40:1-2a
