Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Merciful God, we come humbly before you to confess the sins of our hearts. Our own thoughts, words, and actions are witnesses against us. We turn from you to worship the things of the world. We have not kept covenant with you: we refuse to live by your word; we fail to prepare ourselves and others to meet you. As we seek forgiveness for our sins, our hope is in your infinite grace beyond all judgement. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered. We put our hope in the Lord, for with Him there is steadfast love and great power to redeem. Through the grace of God and the sacrifice of Christ Jesus, we are forgiven. Psalm 130:3-4,7-8
*Hymn of the Month “Give Thanks” Insert
Our Giving to the Lord Pastor
As we come before God with tithes and offerings, let us remember the words of Micah 6: What does the Lord require of us? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God. We bring the fruits of our lives as a gift to Him.
