*Call to Worship: Responsive Reading from Psalm 104
Leader: Praise the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, you are very great! You are clothed with splendor and majesty.
All: He wraps himself in light as with a garment. He stretches out the heavens like a tent.
Leader: He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved. He covered it with the deep as with a garment; he set the boundary the waters cannot cross; the earth is satisfied by the works of his hands.
All: How many are your works, O Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. We will sing to the Lord as long as we live. Praise the Lord!

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Glorious God, full of wisdom and power, you created us a little lower than the heavenly beings, yet we often presume a higher place for ourselves. We take credit for what we have not done. We treat lightly what you intended to be holy. We speak and act pridefully, without a trace of humility or concern for others. We express judgmental criticism rather than patient acceptance. We take the short-term view and miss your abiding presence with us. Teach us humility and the value of sacrifice that we may follow your holy way, in Jesus’ name and according to the example he has set, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
Jesus was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

Our Giving to the Lord Pastor
A life lived for others is the only life consistent with the love of Christ and the reign of God. Even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. We bring our offerings to God that more people may be brought into His kingdom through the saving work of Christ.
