*Call to Worship: Responsive Reading from Psalm 146
Leader: Praise the Lord, O my soul! We will sing praise to the Lord as long as we live!
All: Blessed are we whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord our God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them.
Leader: The Lord remains faithful forever: he upholds the cause of the oppressed; he gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free; he gives sight to the blind.
All: The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; he watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow. The Lord reigns forever, our God, in Zion, for all generations. Praise the Lord!

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Merciful God, we confess that our good intentions go astray. We favor those who are most like ourselves; we dishonor the poor and those with whom we disagree. Our behavior is often self-serving and unjust. Forgive our sins, which are many. Fill us with faith in your everlasting grace and love. Make the unclean clean, that we might be transformed. Help us to humbly hear and obey your word. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
And a highway will be there…the Way of Holiness. Only the Redeemed will walk there, the ransomed of the Lord. They will enter Zion with singing and everlasting joy will crown their heads. Jesus Christ has done this for us! Praise the Lord!
Isaiah 35:8-10

Our Giving to the Lord Pastor
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. In gratitude, then, we offer ourselves to him. James 1:17-18
