*Call to Worship: Responsive Reading from Psalm 84:1-5,12
Leader: How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord. My flesh and blood cry out for the living God.
All: Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young – a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God.
Leader: Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.
All: Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. O Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Gracious God, you have given us the law of Moses and the teachings of Jesus to direct us in the way of life. You offer us the Holy Spirit so that we can be born to new life as your children. We confess that the ways of death have a strong attraction for us, and we often give in to temptation. Forgive our sins and fit us with the armor of God, that we may stand against the devil’s schemes. Give us vision, courage, and strength to choose life that we may dwell with you forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
Remember these things, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel. I have made you and I will not forget you. I have swept away your sins like a cloud. Come back to me; I am the one who saves you. Isaiah 44:21-22 GNB
