Leader: Draw near to God, who hears our complaints and knows our sins. Come in the name of Jesus,
who understands our needs.
All: We have received manna in the wilderness. We have been offered the bread of life.
Leader: We are judged according to our deeds. Sincere faith and truth are what God desires of us.
All: The Holy Spirit comes to restore joy and to bring unity, preparing all people for the work of Christian service.
Whoever comes to Jesus will not be hungry. Whoever trusts in Christ will never be thirsty.

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Almighty God, we have sinned against you, and you only. We have done what is evil in your sight.
Therefore, you are right and just when you judge us. We have been evil since the day we were born.
You require sincerity and truth from us. We ask that you remove our sins and make us clean.
Wash us and we will be whiter than snow. Give us the joy that comes from your salvation and
make us willing to obey, through the presence of your Holy Spirit in us. In Jesus’ name we ask, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
Through the blood of Christ, God washes away all our evil and makes us clean from sin. He creates in us pure hearts
and puts a new and loyal Spirit within us. Jesus came from heaven to do the will of God, to save God’s people from sin.
He will never turn away anyone who comes to him in truth.
