*Opening Prayer Pastor
*Call to Worship Responsive Reading
Leader: Listen, for your name is being called. Beyond the range of human voices, God is calling.
All: We have come to observe a sabbath time. We have gathered to worship at God’s command.
Leader: We are gathered that God might search us and know us. Let us listen to the voice of the Creator God and heed the solemn charge he gives.
All: We are called away from the things we have pursued as gods. Our sin separates us from the one true God, and we long to be reconciled to him.
Leader: Even clay jars can be opened to the light and knowledge of God.
All: God said, “Let light shine out of darkness.” He has put his light in our hearts. Praise the Lord!

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Holy God, before a word is on our tongues, you know it completely. Before we confess our broken vows, you are aware of them. You see our unfaithfulness to you and to those you give us to love. Our sinful secrets and our blatant rebellion are not hidden from you. Test the sincerity of our hearts as we confess. Melt our hardness of heart that we may be forgiven and cleansed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through him the Spirit of life sets us free from the law of sin and death. And if the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead lives in us, God who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to us through the Spirit, who lives in us. Romans 8:1-2, 11
