Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Almighty God, you have raised Jesus from death to life and crowned him Lord of all. We confess that we have not bowed before him or acknowledged his rule in our lives. We confess our lack of trust in you. Though we sing of your lordship over all creation, we too often act as though you are powerless in the face of worldly events. Forgive us and cleanse us from sin. Help us to live in obedience to Christ, with faithful confidence in your power and presence through the gift of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
“This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness will be preached in his name to all nations… You are witnesses of these things.” In the power of Christ, you are forgiven. Luke 24:46-48
