Leader: The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble; he sits enthroned between the cherubim; let the earth shake,
All: Great is the Lord in Zion; He is exalted over all the nations. Let them praise your great and awesome name – He is holy.
Leader: The King is mighty, He loves justice. Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his footstool; He is holy.
All: Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel was among those who called on his name; they called on the Lord, and He answered them.
Leader: He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud; they kept his statutes and the decrees He gave them.
All: O Lord our God, you answered them. Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy.

Call to Confession
Holy God, we confess that we do not trust you fully. We put our hope in worldly gain and in human promises. We find ourselves lost and defeated when things fall apart. We confess our impatience with waiting and our longing for clarity. You reveal to us the fullness and light of your love, but we do not hold on to it nor share it with others. Call us to come up to you, to see you fully, to hear your word clearly, and to live in faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
Jesus received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” May we ourselves hear this voice that comes from heaven as we are forgiven and made new in Christ. 2 Peter 1:17
