Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
All-knowing God of justice and mercy, it is hard for us to recognize our shortcomings and to admit our wrongful ways. We view the world from our narrow, self-centered perspective, rather than looking with your vision and acting with your wisdom. Forgive our sins and teach us to live at peace with you, with others, and with ourselves. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
Job spoke words of assurance saying, “I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God!” (Job 19:25-26). Jesus assures us that, in him, we are Children of God and Children of the Resurrection!
