Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart, mind, and strength. We have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. In your mercy, forgive what we have been, help us to change what we are, and direct what we will be, so that we may delight in your will and walk in your ways, to the glory of your holy name. We come to renew our relationship to you through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
Malachi 4:2 says, “For you who fear the name of the Lord, the Sun of Righteousness, Jesus Christ himself, will rise with healing in his wings.” We will be set free from sin and death. We rejoice in the new heavens and the new earth that God is creating.
