Caring & Sharing's Mission

Our mission is to meet the needs of people regardless of their race, age, sex, national origin, color, or disability while upholding their dignity. We are committed to helping families and individuals in need by providing food, clothing, and household items at no cost. Our purpose is to reflect God’s love for others by caring for them spiritually and physically through sharing His word and food and clothing. We commit to serving others with kindness, respect, and humility.

 

Help Our Cause

Material and monetary donations may be dropped off at the Center (2307 S. Mobberly Ave.) on Mondays and Tuesdays between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm. The following donations are accepted:

  • Clothing - men's, women's, and children's
  • Bedding - sheets, blankets, pillows
  • Bath towels, hand towels, dish towels, and washcloths
  • Dishes, silverware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and countertop appliances
  • Wheelchairs and walkers 

We cannot accept large items, such as furniture, beds, mattresses, recliners, sofas, and televisions.  We do not pick up donations or deliver items. Checks  may be mailed to Caring & Sharing, 3221 Dundee Road, Longview, TX 75604.  We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry.

General Assembly

The Ministry Council is the denomination’s ministry programming division. Together, the Ministry Council and its Ministry Teams create resources to assist individuals on their spiritual journey and congregations in their varied ministries.
