Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
God of grace and mercy, we call to you for help. What gain is there in our destruction, in our going down into the pit? We confess that we have sinned against you in many ways. Although you send us out as ambassadors of peace, we fight with others. We fail to show your healing grace to the wounded world. We have not lived up to your intentions for us. Patient God, forgive us again and fill us with your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
Psalm 30:5 says, “God’s anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping remains for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” We who are healed by the blood of Christ boast only in the cross of our Lord Jesus: through his sacrifice we become a new creation. Praise the Lord!
