*Call to Worship Responsive Reading Psalm 42:1-4 and 43:3-4
Leader: As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.
All: My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?
Leader: My tears have been my food day and night, while men say to me all day long, “Where is your God?”
All: These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go with the multitude to the house of God with shouts of joy and thanksgiving among the festive throng.
Leader: Send forth your light and your truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell.
All: Then we will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight, and we will praise you!

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Almighty God, we confess that we have broken covenant with you, even as we try to live zealously for you. Our lives do not praise you, our actions deny you, and our work is carried out without considering your will. As we seek to meet with you, come to us in grace and mercy, forgiving our sins and restoring our relationship to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
“You are all sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourself with Christ… if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:26-27 and 29
