Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Almighty God and Lord of All, we come on this day of glory to confess our lack of trust in You. We go along with the ways of the world, and do not acknowledge your rule in our lives. While we sing of your lordship over all creation, we often act as though You were powerless. We fail to give You the glory due your name. Help us to live with confidence in your presence today and in the hope of life with You forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
Hear the good news of the gospel: If anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous Son; He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. In Christ, we are forgiven! Thanks be to God.
