*Call to Worship Responsive Reading from Psalm 17
Leader: Come into the presence of God to be fed. Call on God, who is eager to answer.
All: We gather to seek God’s face. Let our eyes see all that is right and true.
Leader: Incline your ears to hear all God would teach. Seek God’s face.
All: We are here to receive God’s blessing. God is our light and our refuge. In righteousness we will see God’s face, and we will be satisfied with seeing His likeness. It is time to renew our covenant with the living God.

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
God of mercy and grace, we know you to be just; we have seen your compassion for humanity in Jesus Christ. We come to express our sorrow and anguish that we have not followed faithfully in his footsteps. Unforgiveness and selfishness damage our discipleship. Although you entrusted the bread of your kingdom to us, we have not fed the hungry people around us. We do not seek your face nor heed your instruction. Take away our wickedness and restore your covenant among us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. The Lord is near to all who call on him in truth… He hears their cry and saves them (Psalm 145:8,13,18-19). In Jesus Christ our sins are forgiven, and we are made right with God.
